MR. Mohsen Yousefpour' s Keynote Speech Regarding Connected Cars
In this panel, Eng.Yousefpour shared the experiences and opinions of Irancell in the field of connected cars, which is a brand new topic in the country, and said: "We, at Irancell, have started a way for the operator to enter the car industry, and also have suggested the MTN group to cooperate as one of the foreign investors. However, according to the conditions of large industries in our country, the requirement is to form an ecosystem in which the relevant stakeholders or beneficiaries participate to form a part of it and bring this development to an irreversible point. Irancell is one of the main pillars of the new generation of technology. Compared to the developed technologies in the world, it is fully prepared to invest and enter the field of technologies related to connected cars. Apart from the technology side, there are more extensive and significant challenges regarding this product and its quality.
Besides that, regulatory and stakeholders issues, such as consumers and connected cars' target market, still need to be operationally resolved in the country.”
