Hola Amigos!

First blog! First YouTube video! First painting! First dance class! and a million other "firsts" that I'm yet to hit. And, well, here I go with my first newsletter.

I have had a long list of pending things I wanted to dig my hands in. And, well, I have finally decided to get to them - one by one. I'm taking it slow, but steady. (Slow and Steady wins the race!)

Before I go ahead talking about why "The Opacarophile's Soul Talk", I want to talk about the reason behind choosing this name for my newsletter. The word 'Opacarophile' means a person who loves sunsets. And, that resonates with me. Also, I am calling this newsletter a 'Soul Talk' because that's what I intend to keep the tone of the newsletter as - heart to heart talk.

This year, I finally created a blog and haven't deleted it yet (flabbergasting to me!). And, so I jumped onto the bandwagon of newsletters as well. Not because everyone's doing it, but more essentially because I wanted to try it. I have things to say that I believe people will read (willingly; no peer pressure :) ).

Honestly, in the last two years, I have grown a lot. I've had a journey different than others (whether you talk about my acquaintances, close friends, LinkedIn connections or people near me). And, I am about to go on a journey different than the people around me. With this newsletter, all I want to encapsulate is my journey, my lessons and in a way, share it among people who care to hear, and who want to jump onto knowing more.
