Hoisting Devices on Form Traveler

Form Traveler can be equipped with hoisting devices for handling the routine work on the cast in place balance cantilever bridge; such as lifting and transferring of the reinforcement bars, positioning of the post-tension jack, it can also help in the relocation of the strand coil etc. These additional hoist devices helps to facilitate the work around the fabrication of the cast in place segments. It turns the Form Traveler into a compact factory instead of just purely a Form-work supporting frame system

Above form Traveler were equipped with manually operated trolley and chain hoist

Above Form Traveler were equipped with electric Hoist and Trolley 

Certain bridges were design with Corrugated Steel-web or with Strut supporting the Outer Deck will require larger capacity hoisting system to handle the installation of these pre-installed part. The hoist can be running on the runway beam to pick up the pre-installed part from rear of the Form Traveler and it can relocate the pre-installed part to the front and to install them into final position.
