Gym, swimming classes, acting or dancing clubs, etc are a perfect ground to meet like minds and expand your social or professional network. There are so many stories of people meeting in a casual environment and turning into business partners. Also, everyone at the class is equal and you get to interact with individuals across the professional hierarchy. The casual setting provides a comfortable environment for people from various professional backgrounds to come together.

Creativity

All jobs require some aspect of creativity or let’s say thinking outside the box. Pursuing a hobby is an effective way of stimulating your brain and fostering creative thoughts. So, pursuing a hobby does not necessarily mean joining a class. Taking lessons from Youtube and practicing your hobby in the privacy of your home also counts. As long as you are able to dedicate your time to your hobby you are bound to inspire yourself.

Hobbies that demand problem solving are a great way to develop critical thinking. It helps you to sharpen your analytical skills and enhance focus.
