HO! HO! Happy HOlidays! Something to Watch, Do, Another Thing to Watch, & Something to Think About Before 2025

It is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. It is actually about to be Christmas (like next week). Fingers crossed that your shopping is done. And if not, your 亚马逊 Prime 2-day delivery window is closing, fast.

In standard fashion, we want to make this newsletter easy for you to consume so we broke it down into sections: something to watch, do, another thing to watch, and something to think about.?

TL;DR - Urban.io unboxing video. TechFest Tampa is going to be huge and it is on February 13th. Paul teaches you how to save money (and achieve sustainability goals) through proper dust collection. How long can you stay competitive when others are producing more, faster, and with better consistency? ??

And in true holiday spirit here are a few of our favorite festive posts from LinkedIn. ??

Doug Adams griding to get ready for Christmas.
Doug grinding away to get ready for Christmas.

Who else loves a good unboxing video?! We certainly do! Check out this video of Ali Goldberg doing an unboxing of Urban.io, our low-cost remote asset monitoring solution with 17 different sensor types.

Something to Do

TechFest Tampa is a few months away and we could not be more pumped. Last year's event was awesome and we are excited to get everyone back together to present the latest in reliability and automation to all of our Florida-based customers. And we have new swag.

The goal of TechFest is to bring our customer base together with all of our vendor partners to start the conversation and get ideas flowing on how we can partner in 2025 to tackle your automation and reliability issues.

To achieve this, we will assemble 20+ vendors and a whole lot of demos of cobots, asset monitoring solutions, automated lubrication, pulse valve technology, and 2D/ 3D machine vision just to name a few areas of focus.

Of course, the event is free with drinks and food provided. ????

If you want to level up your production and increase profitability through automation and reduced downtime, this event is for you; and probably a few of your colleagues so please share it with them too. ??

Something to Think About

Let's face it - if you're in manufacturing today, you're probably thinking about automation. And if you're not, you really should be. We get it - taking that first step towards automating your operations can feel like a huge leap. The price tag might make you wince, and change is never easy. But here's the thing: while you're weighing the pros and cons, your competitors are already making moves.

They're bringing in cobots that work 24/7, installing machine vision systems that catch defects human eyes might miss, and streamlining their operations in ways that were unimaginable just a few years ago. The best part? They're seeing real results - churning out products faster, with fewer errors, and often at a lower cost. And let's get real - finding and keeping skilled workers isn't getting any easier, and labor costs aren't going down.

Sure, automation requires an investment, but think about the cost of not making that move.

How long can you stay competitive when others are producing more, faster, and with better consistency?

The manufacturing world isn't waiting around, and neither should you. The real question isn't whether automation should be part of your future - it's how quickly you can make it part of your present.

Let's make 2025 the year you take the first step in your automation journey. Jeff Fiorini is ready when you are.

That's a Wrap... on this Newsletter and 2024

You made it. As 2024 comes to a close, we want to thank our customers for trusting us to help achieve your manufacturing goals this year. We hope you have a happy and safe holiday and cannot wait to partner with you next year.

Until next time, keep working to make things Better. Faster. Smarter. and we will be right there to help you along the way.

Until next year,

- Nate
