Gen Zers Can Recognize Brands Based Solely On ‘Sonic Memes,’ Report Says

The report found that Gen Z recognizes viral or meme sounds 81% of the time, compared to 41% for non-meme sounds. Gen Z can correctly name the brand associated with a meme sound 54% of the time, while only 25% can do the same with non-meme sounds. Sonic branding's impact is expected to grow as Gen Z matures.
