In our second interview for our HJ Hall retailor spotlight, we sat down with the lovely Selina, from Perrywood garden centre in Essex.?
HJ: Please could you introduce yourselves?
SM: Hi, I'm Selina Hammond, Clothing buyer for Perrywood Garden Centre for the past 6 years.
HJ: In a couple of sentences, tell us about Perrywood.
SM: Perrywood are an independent retailer based in Essex, we have been trading for over 50 years and are very well known for being crazy about plants!
HJ: When did you start stocking HJ?
SM: We started stocking HJ Hall in 2022 at our Tiptree site and after having some great success with the spinner stand, I decided to introduce HJ Hall to our Sudbury branch at the start of 2024.
HJ: What do you love about HJ Hall?

SM: Jessica, my rep is so helpful when choosing new styles for each season and the delivery time is extremely fast from order to store, I can't fault it.
HJ: What keeps the HJ consumer keep coming back?
SM: I think that our customers love the quality of the socks and that's the reason why they return to buy them every time.
HJ: What is your personal favourite HJ Hall product and why?
SM: My personal favourite are any of the Classic printed comfort top socks, the designs are always so lovely and the price point is really reasonable
HJ: Are you excited about the prospects of HJ Hall introducing new products?
SM: I always love to see what HJ Hall are going to bring out next, I know that there is always thought behind new styles
HJ; What is the most popular/best selling HJ Hall product and why?
SM: The best selling lines for us are the HJ91 and HJ90 as they are a classic staple Cotton & Wool Softops for any sock lover! We also do very well with the HJ10 triple pack Comfort Top Work sock great price and again good quality.
