Hivelight at Spark Conference 2024

Well we've finally had "the experience" - our first Smokeball Spark Conference, that is. And wow, the Smokeball Australia team know how to put on an event.

Hivelight - Legal project management co-founders Xabi Errotabehere and Ashley Kelso exhibited at Spark Conference at the W Hotel, Sydney.

In typical Smokeball fashion (which has become the trademark of anything Nikolas O'Meara , Samuel Williamson , and Emma Erlach touch), everything was well presented, speakers thoughtfully chosen and prepped, and there was a small army of Smokeballers embedded throughout making everything run smoothly.

The festive vibe carried the day from start to finish - Smokeball seems to attract a lot of people with flair and personality (we're looking at you Amanda Little and Fiona Kirkman ??) including the vendors (no one can miss when Steve Hantos of Tensis enters the room).

This was also the first time we had pitched people at a conference with a live DJ - suffice to say that our voices were completely shot by the morning.

Big respect to Smokeball Founder & CEO Hunter Steele (the man with the coolest name in legal tech) who gave a live demo on stage of Smokeball's new AI Assistant. And it worked like a charm!

The day wrapped up with inspirational stories of heroism, a dance party with coconuts, Brazilian dancers, Korean fried chicken, and ice creams.

... and then Hunter Steele took everyone down to the bar and showed us a masterclass in hospitality and generosity.
