Hitting The Gym Has Spiked My Productivity!

Hitting The Gym Has Spiked My Productivity!

For the last two weeks, I have been heading to the gym in the morning and the effect it has had not on just my physical and mental well-being, but also my productivity when managing my community has been invaluable.

I haven't lifted any weights for nearly three years so I knew it would be tough to get going.

The first two days were an eye-opener. Before moving to Cambridge I was a PT alongside teaching. I would attend the gym up to three times per day and my body was lifting a fair amount. Now we're back at the drawing board.

I've set myself some goals and I'm confident that within a few months, I'll be knocking on the door of where we once were!

After two weeks my motivation for work is even higher than it was before, and those who know me, know it's not hard to get me started when it comes to work!

I believe that the simple tasks of getting up early, helping sort breakfast for the boys, getting to the gym and pushing myself to my limits have definitely pushed me to think, "How far can I go?"

It's been a bit of a juggling act but I feel energised from the word "Go!" and things are getting done! (Much to Jess's delight!) But my productivity is arguably the highest it's ever been and that is down to going to the gym every morning!

If you're trying to find a way to re-energise, get moving!
