It finally arrived! Grand Theft Auto VI has been revealed, and it looks incredible. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait two more years to play it, assuming that there are no delays, but at least we can watch the trailer over and over again until then. ??

Away from GTA, G2 Esports announced that it will take over the operations of Version1's Call of Duty team, and BioWare revealed that the new Dragon Age will be revealed next summer.

Unfortunately, not all of the announcements have been positive since we last landed in your inbox, as there have been even more layoffs, including some at New World Interactive, and Twitch has confirmed that it will be shutting down in Korea.

???GTA VI’s trailer arrives early following leaks

• Fans have finally been given the first?official?look at GTA VI, over a decade after its predecessor's release, showcasing the latest iteration of Vice City and its Florida-inspired surroundings. ??
• The game will center on two protagonists, a Bonnie and Clyde-style duo named Lucia and James, and it appears that the game will place a heavy emphasis on social media and its users' crazy antics.
• The bad news is that it will arrive in 2025, most likely in the latter half of the year. It may also be delayed to ensure that it is polished, as Rockstar releases are typically rather solid compared to those of other studios.

Other news ???

While most of the news cycle has been dominated by Rockstar and GTA VI, the rest of the industry hasn't ground to a standstill. Here are some other tidbits you might've missed.

Twitch has sadly confirmed that those in Korea will no longer be able to stream or use many features of its platform beginning in February 2024, as the company is withdrawing from the region due to increased operating costs.

Dragon Age developer BioWare has provided fans with a long-awaited update on Dreadwolf's development, revealing that it will be revealed in summer 2024 if no further delays occur.

Over in the esports space, G2 and Version1 have announced a new partnership in which G2 will take over the Minnesota R?kkr Call of Duty League franchise and Version1 will become a shareholder in G2 while not fielding any active esports teams or creating content.
