Hit Man Comes Home

Richard Linklater’s new film Hit Man staged its Austin premiere last week at the Paramount Theatre. Arts+Labor designed the opening titles and handled VFX. ?

In Hit Man, Glen Powell plays Gary Johnson, the “perfect chameleon”, turning himself into whoever he needs to be in any given situation, so we designed a title sequence to match. Read more? about the process in last week’s Happy Heat.

It was a big week for Texas film. Glen Powell was also inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame by Robert Rodriguez. The Austin Film Society hosted a Toast to Texas Film at Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios to celebrate. It was a family affair all around. A+L’s Jessie Auritt directed and edited the Morrisa Maltz interview featured at the event. We’re proud to be AFS’s creative production partner since 2012.

Give Back Gig

Celebrating Austin’s Culinary Scene with Visit Austin

The Visit Austin Foundation is hosting Give Back Gig?this Wednesday, May 22nd. This year’s event celebrate Austin’s culinary industry, bringing together some of Austin’s hottest chefs with up-and-coming talent from Travis Early College High School culinary program. We partnered with Visit Austin to produce a video series with the chefs and students that will play at the event.

Proceeds from the event will support the Visit Austin Foundation as well as the Les Dames d’Escoffier’s Austin Chapter. Tickets available here.
