The etiology of YHWH, a militaristic god attached to the royal family, but suggesting that many of the stories regarding the Hebrew religion come from other cultural and ethnic groups of the region-Philistines (Judith, David and Goliah), Phoenicians (who made up the main ethnic group in Israel) and Syria.
