The History Wrangler releases new Stampede themed Music Video to celebrate his life long connection to The Calgary Stampede!

Rob Lennard, known as Alberta's History Wrangler has been involved with the Calgary Stampede for almost 5 decades, starting in Grade 5 when he was in his first Grandstand Show and performed in front of Queen Elizabeth as a member of The Young Canadians(see photo) He went on to join the Stampede Band, write the best selling book for the Calgary Stampede's centennial in the Chapters/Indigo book chain in the summer of 2012 and did a 3 day book signing in Indian Village with the author of his First Nation themed book.

To celebrate his passion for the Stampede he has written a really fun Stampede themed song called The YaHoo Stampede Song that mentions most of what "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" is known for. He them sought 100 "Stampede loving" folks to turn the song into a music video including; Treaty 7 and Metis Dancers, a legendary Olympic Bobsledder, The Outlaw Dancers Trick Ropers. Mascots, Guns of the Golden West and a Bull Rider on the Mechanical Bull who has rode over 700 Bulls and 300 wild horses! The link to the music video is below.

I look forward to seeing Y'all down at the Stampede starting this Friday! YaHoo!!!
