History Of Programming :

History Of Programming :

Everyone has their history likewise, programming also has a history. This history of programming is divided into generations. The world’s first programming language was developed by Ada Lovelace in 1843 and at that time computers do not exist. You will be surprised to know that this first programming language was written on a piece of paper by Ada Lovelace and was used in Charles Babbage’s first mechanical computer which is Difference Engine. The first programming language is developed by attaching different circuits to generate output. The most exciting thing is NASA is also using 50-60 years old code in their rocket missions because they will suffer a huge loss if they use recent codes as they require testing which may lead to a huge risk of money and pieces of equipment for them. All the next-generation languages are derived from previous-generation languages means there is a progression through history. First and second-generation languages are low-level languages and third, fourth, and fifth-generation languages are high-level languages. It doesn’t matter which generation language you are using. I am just going to share all generation programming languages generation-wise with their pros and cons in upcoming articles.
