The beginning-1992
As MD @ JOSECO from the beginning itself I had clarity on objective of my business. That is to provide quality solution to our customers. For that we cultivated a habit of considering any one approaching us for their needs as not just customers or visitors, but our guests. Similarly, our staffs were trained and tuned to compliment the culture and philosophy of our company which ultimately help us achieve the objective. With this mindset, we could understand our customers’ needs with clarity and fulfilled it to their satisfaction on time. We began the process of laying the foundation for our business by holding each customer closest to our heart with utmost care. Thus, we started our journey towards growth.
WE PROVIDE SOLUTION THROUGH OUR SERVICE
We were Initially named JOSECO SAW MILL, because we were into only sawmilling job work. I was one among the 4 people working in my own industry then.
The second phase 1998
On 1998 oct 2 we renamed as JOSECO SAW MILL & TIMBERS, because apart from job work, we started trading regional as well as imported timber from various countries like, Malaysia, Indonesia, Burma, south America, Papua New Guinea and several African countries. In addition, we were supplying naturally super seasoned sawn wood, so it could be readily carpentered for building purposes. Within a short period, we became the biggest timber traders in Kanyakumari DIST. By this time our man power grew to 15 and we added several latest equipment like, log lifter, automatic log cutter, sawmilling machines were updated, we owned trucks to carry goods in and out. Adoption of these facilities attracted more customers and our business grew accordingly.

The third phase 2000
On January 26th, 2000, our title was renamed as JOSECO WOOD INDUSTRIES, because, in addition to sawmilling and timber trading, we started, undertaking carpentering job works as well as manufacturing of wooden furniture for domestic and commercial purposes against orders. We put up hi-tech automated machines to achieve accuracy in work and timely delivery. Our man power became 45 in number.
The fourth phase 2002
On April 1st, 2002, we put up a furniture retail outlet in Marthandam with 1000 sqft display. We sold our wooden furniture under the tagline MANUFACTURER OF LIFETIME WARRENTY WOODEN FURNITURE. Our manufacturing base allowed us to keep pricing under control, gIve customized solutions to customers and deliver on time. 7 more people boarded our team so now they were 52 altogether.
The fifth phase 2005
On December 20th 2005 our customer base crossed 5000. Again 15 more people of outstanding skills boarded our team, booming the number to 67. We expanded our display area to 6000 sqft. We renamed as JOSECO FURNITURE, because retailing of furniture became our mainstream activity. ?We were dynamic enough to sense the high growing potentiality in market for furniture. So, in addition to manufacturing, we stepped into importing quality home and office furniture from countries like Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. We avoided agents in between, so that we could stand competent in price and we had manufacturing tie-up with selected factories in all these countries to keep quality in check. Apart from this we always had a critical quality check when products land our go down. As we have super skilled carpentering and fitter team, we are able to rectify any quality issues. We understood the importance of adopting technology for marketing and advertising, so we hired highly skilled persons to construct a beautiful, customer friendly website. Unlike our competitors we have been updating and maintaining our website in daily basis. Our website traffic showed us the huge opportunity of online sales. ?We put after sales service ahead of new sales, so a team comprising of 4 technicians were organised, exclusively to attend to our customers’ needs on time, after sales. So, we adopted various methods to collect feedback of our customers precisely about our operations. This helps us to understand the likes and dislikes of our customers. We use their feedback as the steering force of our business.
The sixth phase 2006
On March 12th 2006 we became distributors of PEPS brand for Kanya Kumari district. Most of the dealers are based in Nagercoil and surrounding area, so we started a mattress store in Veturnimadom Nagercoil to facilitate easy delivery to dealers. It operates as a branch of JOSECO FURNITURE MARTHANDAM
The seventh phase 2010
On September 30th 2010 we expanded our Marthandam showroom to 13000 sqft display. Our customer base crossed 10000 by this time.100 + institutions in Kanyakumari district as well Trivandrum district became our repeated customers, we became vendors of Christian Medical College Vellore, Koodankulam nuclear power plant, and SIDCO, an organisation of Kerala Govt.So, we had to open a new showroom @ kuzhithurai, exclusively for office and institution furniture. It operates as a branch of JOSECO FURNITURE MARTHANDAM. We have a working point @ Papanamcode, Trivandrum district to facilitate uninterrupted delivery to SIDCO. It also operates as a branch of JOSECO FURNITURE MARTHANDAM. Again, we added 5 people more to our team put together 72 number. Since 2005, our website traffic grew gradually. We were consistently testing various methods and strategies of safe and timely delivering goods across the country. Several times our attempt ended up in loss of money because we didn’t want to bestow the losses upon our customers. Quality logistics was a limitation for us, so we couldn’t flourish in that activity. But as we were ambitious, we kept on working on R&D basis for achieving that goal. We were super excited to hear our guests say that, OUR’S IS THE BIGGEST FURNITURE STORE THEY HAVE EVER SEEN. This feedback is the driving force behind our urge to expand our display area consistently.
The seventh phase 2013
This year we entered into home décor business like blinds, curtain, wallpaper, vinyl and wooden flooring, our carpentering section started undertaking domestic as well commercial interior work, including staircases, ceilings and wooden wall panelling. We seriously concentrated in kitchen works made of various materials like, natural wood, aluminium, engineered wood, modular etc…We started undertaking partitions works, steel and wooden furniture, setting up of labs and many more customized solutions for institutions. Now our team expanded to 76 in number. As we are customer centric, we want our customer to know more about the product they buy and how to handle it. To educate them, we categorised our products into four. They are; Premium series, sky series, galaxy series and rainbow series. These details are printed in the flip side of the order form we issue. During billing, our sales persons explains these details, to customers. We got high appreciation from our customer for this gesture, because they understood how much we value their money.

PREMIUM SERIES
The products which falls in this segment is exclusive for our customers who are not just satisfied with LIFE TIME WARRENTY, but they want a class look, pure wood, high end finish and more. These products have all the features of export quality. This segment comprises only of wooden furniture. These products displayed in our showroom carries the label premium SERIES.

SKY SERIES
This second segment is for our customers who want good quality and pure wood. We assure them LIFETIME GUARANTEE but not the other features of premium series. Typical products of this segment have exchange offer on conditions. This segment also comprises only of wooden furniture. The products of this segment displayed in our showroom will have the label SKY SERIES.
GALAXY SERIES
In this segment we have full cover sofas. In the beginning we imported sofa and some of our customers came back with some complaints. To our surprise the inner surface was filled with waste foams and wood pieces. So, we began manufacturing Leather & Fabric Sofas using quality foam and wood materials with latest technology machines from Germany. Our own manufactured sofas carry LIFETIME GUARANTEE (conditions apply) The products-of-this-segment displayed in our showroom will have the label GALAXY SERIES. Quality assurance team were deployed, because we are not ready to compromise on quality. We use branded foam, brass pins, plywood of century brand architect category, this is the highest quality available in market and wood applied with termite proof. Unlike other sofa manufacturers we zeal the under portion of the sofa, to prevent from insects and even rats to dwell inside. But we use screw instead of pins or nails, because even in our, store if a customer wishes see inside to assure whether we have complied to the quality measures, we can unscrew to look inside. We create new designs regularly to stand out among our competitors. It is our unique feature to issue warranty card to customer.
RAINBOW SERIES
The products of this segment are imported furniture of all kinds, from countries like, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. To maintain the quality of the products we have Tie-up with genuine companies abroad. These products are for our customers who want a fine appearance which adds beauty to their interior. Differentiating on accordance with the nature of handling, this Series consists of two categories, A & B. The ‘A’ category products include Office Table, Dressing Table, Wardrobe, Cot, Dining Table, Glass Tea Table, T.V Stand, Wooden Settee and Study Table. These Products are not to be dragged, Pull, Push or Lift from the top. If you want to move, lift it only from the bottom. Drawers, Keyboard Sliders, Doors & Locks of these furniture should be handled with care. The ‘B’ category products include Sofa cum Bed, Full Cover Settee & all range of Chairs. In order to enjoy the durability of these products, we would like to suggest our customers to HANDLE THEM WITH CARE. Before delivering we remake to add strength to these products by fixing wooden pieces underneath the particle board items to prevent them from absorbing moisture from the floor, we fix wooden supports with araldite, under the seat of chairs to prevent them from shake during prolonged usage, then we do welding work, use metal L clamps to the furniture according to the demand to enhance strength. We apply whether proof as well termite proof coting to particle board furniture. We are sure these products are of good quality, provided they are not mishandled as we shall do with our premium and SKY Series products. ?The eight phase 2015
We had an unflinching urge to achieve the ability to deliver anywhere in India. For that we were consistently researching and learning and testing since more than 5 years. Finally, we landed associating with an apt transporter who could work with us hand in hand to accomplish quality and timely delivering pan India. Now our customer base reached 16000.Our Marthandam store was expanded to 20000 sqft of display. We became distributors of Godrej safety lockers, distributors of hykon ups & battery dealers in cctv, dealers of Kirloskar solar panels, distributor of eureka Forbes, dealer of waterpurifyier and many more. So, we renamed as JOSECO. We updated all our machines to latest technology and our billing system was digitalised centrally.
The ninth phase 2019
On 14 th April 2019 we started our official YouTube channel. It helped us to reach out brand pan India. We have 1700 + subscribers and 4lac + viewers. We realised that this is the right time to shift from manual method of collecting feedback to capture it digitally on google platform, so that we can expose our worth to any one globally. As on date 15th October 2021 we have 1000 + fantastic reviews with 5-star rating on google. So, our YOUTUBE as well as google review kicked a surge in our sales.?

Now we are in our tenth phase of growth. 2021
To sale up our sales to double within a short period, we are now associated with Easy Net to take care of our website as well as social media handling. On August 15th 78th Independence Day we launched our new version of ecommerce website. To begin with, our first stock point for online sales is put up @ Chennai. Another 9 more stock points will be established shortly, scattered all over Tamil Nadu and Kerala as per the demands of market. Now we are in the process of expanding our offline showroom to 30000 + sqft. Sustaining JOSECO as a manufacturing base, we have created a new entity named JOSECO PVT LTD which will take over JOSECO’S every activity leaving behind only the manufacturing unit and its activities. JOSECO’S goodwill, existing 25000+ customer base, 1000+ google reviews and brand value will be utilised by the new entity. At present we have 100 + well trained, dedicated and outstandingly result oriented?people working with us.The existing staffs except manufacturing team will be transferred to JOSECO PVT LTD.The short-term goal of JOSECO PVT LTD is to achieve 25 crores turnover within the financial year ending 31st March 2023 aggregating in the consecutive years accordingly. Investors are solicited.
