Diplomacy is the art of saying 'Nice doggie' until you can find a rock by Prof. Dr. Jorge Van der Loo
Diplomacy, as a practice of conducting relations between states through negotiations and agreements, has a long and complex history that has played a crucial role in shaping the global political landscape. From ancient civilizations to modern states, diplomacy has been a key tool in resolving conflicts, forming alliances, and maintaining peace. Diplomacy has been a fundamental aspect of human interaction since the dawn of civilization. In ancient times, rulers and emperors relied on envoys and ambassadors to communicate with foreign powers and negotiate treaties. The earliest recorded instances of diplomatic relations can be traced back to Mesopotamia, Egypt, and China, where emissaries were sent to establish alliances and trade agreements.
