The idea of creating a playground came from Germany. The first playground was developed in 1885 by a superwoman named Dr. Marie E. Zaker Zalewska. She is the 1st German women to improve the idea of a playground in Boston sand gardens in 1885. After a few years later, the first playground named 'Charles bank Outdoor Gymnasium' was opened in the United States. The first playground includes seesaws, ladders, running actions, rowing, and swings, etc.
A few years later, the idea of gardens spread into New York City also. Many houses had sand gardens near their buildings, and many schools have also established playgrounds. In 1906, many communities go after permission from President Roosevelt to develop the ideas of playgrounds in different societies. However, early gardens do not add too many safety measures. Some games have no seat children should hold the chain throughout the game. They should have a grip to carry the chain. Otherwise, they will fall and have injuries. After some years, these dangers have overcome, which means safety and playable equipment have been introduced into the playgrounds.
