A Historic Night

A Historic Night

Saturday’s Light the Night Walk was truly a historic event! Thank you to each and every person who donated, walked and dedicated their time. Collectively, we were able to make this night special for blood cancer patients, survivors, their supporters and for all those who have lost loved ones to these diseases. Because of you, we were able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to support the lifesaving work done by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Your generosity and dedication is getting us closer than ever to a CURE for cancer!

I’d like to give a special thanks to my Co-Chair Bill Lia, the LLS Board and staff, and the Executive Leadership Committee for months of planning and work. To our Honored Heroes, Anthony Yevoli and Rylyn Swierzewski, for their bravery and advocacy. To all of our sponsors, especially our presenting sponsor Berkshire Bank, for their commitment to our cause. To our top friends and family team, Team Jack Pack, for their incredible fundraising accomplishment. To Greg Floyd and CBS 6 News, Dan Dolan and the Hilton Garden Inn, Aidin Bharti and Bharti Productions, and Big Top Tents for all their efforts on Saturday. And most importantly, a loud shout out to Maureen O’Brien and Karen Patterson for all they do every day to make this event so special.

For one night, we were able to Light the Night at Siena College.

When we walk, cancer runs!!!!
