Hispanic Heritage Month Spotlight

  1. What does HHM mean to you?

Hispanic Heritage Month is a celebration of the rich and diverse cultural tapestry that is the Latin community. It’s a time to reflect on our shared history, honor our ancestors, and recognize the incredible contributions Latin individuals have made and continue to make to society. For me, HHM is a reminder of the strength and resilience of our community, and an opportunity to celebrate the beauty of our culture.

2. What is your cultural background?

I am proud to identify as Bolivian-American. My heritage is deeply rooted in the vibrant traditions and history of Bolivia, a country known for its stunning landscapes, diverse indigenous cultures, and colorful festivals.

3. Favorite Music Genre and Artist?

When it comes to music, I have a special place in my heart for rock en espa?ol, and one iconic band that I admire is Los Enanitos Verdes. Their timeless rock anthems resonate with fans across Latin America and beyond. Additionally, I’m drawn to the infectious rhythms of cumbia, and artists like Tambo Tambo, and most recently with Ke Personajes, and La K’onga that bring a modern twist to this classic genre. La Cumbia combines so many emotions and it’s an excellent representation of Latin culture.

4. What advice would you give to Young Latin Professionals?
