Hiring over 350 Software Engineers

Hiring over 350 Software Engineers

Over the next 6 months, I will be hiring over 350 Software Engineers to join the Citrix Engineering team across our R&D centers in Fort Lauderdale, Santa Clara, Raleigh, Burlington, Portland, Patras, Cambridge, Bangalore, and Nanjing. We are also planning for our 2019 New College Hires and Interns program right now – and looking to hire 175 interns in 2019.

Why join now?

It is a great time to join Citrix! We just came out of our annual conference, Citrix Synergy, where we announced a record number of innovations shaping the future of the digital workspace. We also have a record number of patent filings – tripling over an 18 month period of time. Our innovation engine is accelerating to a pace never seen before at Citrix, and it is only the beginning.

Running Cloud at Scale

Citrix has seen phenomenal growth in our Cloud Services; all of our 400,000+ customers will move to Citrix Cloud in the future which accelerates innovation and shortens the time to value for end-users dramatically. By joining now, you can see our cloud grow exponentially which will give you a unique exposure to build, deploy and run micro services at scale. We are now updating our cloud services on average eight times a day, up from a little over one update a day just three quarters back. This acceleration using our Continuous Deployment pipeline will continue over the next years when we add more and more micro services to Citrix Cloud.

Enjoying Citrix Life

Citrix has a special culture focused on investing in employees. While we enjoy innovating at a pace faster than the industry we also appreciate a good work-life balance, having fun at work and celebrating successes. Citrix culture is set around our 5 key values; Integrity, Respect, Curiosity, Courage, and Unity.

Citrix is hiring in all parts of our Engineering organization

Die Hard Software Engineers: Yes, we are looking for exceptional talent in software engineering. C, C++, C#, Java, Javascript, React Native to name a few. Since we integrate at a lower level of the stack in Windows, Android, iOS, MacOS, and IoT platforms, we always need engineers with deep understanding of operating systems, drivers, and the likes.

Devops specialists: All of our products are now available in the cloud and we follow CloudOps technologies for continuous delivery in the cloud. We need specialists that continuously help us improve our cloud deployment models on both the CI and CD side of the house.

Data Scientists: Our analytics team is rapidly growing and as you might have learned from the Synergy 2018 announcements – we have a gold mine of data to work with. From 100 million end points sending us data to 8 billion performance data points per day in our Citrix Intelligent Traffic Management (ITM) solution to tons of data in the network layer. You cannot do machine learning without data, we have more data than we need to bring meaningful value back to our customers. Built on the latest and greatest Azure Analytics-as-a-Service platform we primarily focus on data flows, intelligent models and actions back into our products rather than managing large Hadoop clusters ourselves.

Cloud Architects: Our Cloud team is looking for Cloud DNA at scale. Building cloud micro services at high availability requires a different approach to traditional software development. Defensive, fault tolerant design that changes all the time due to high frequent updates in a full canary roll-out/roll-back model requires different approaches to software design.

Site Reliability Engineers: Our CloudOps team is looking for experience in continuous deployment, deep product and infrastructure knowledge for highly dynamic cloud environments at global scale.

Mobile Software Engineers: As you might have seen at Synergy 2018, Citrix has delivered a set of beautifully designed mobile applications optimized for mobile use cases with a consistent look and feel. We are further investing in mobile productivity use cases around applications, content, security and self-service.

About Citrix Engineering

Citrix Engineering is growing fast, with 2000+ engineers across our nine R&D centers around the world. We run all agile at scale. We use SAFe as a technology to manage dependencies, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins and Slack as the core R&D tools. Citrix Engineering is focused on test driven development where the automation mantra is that no engineer should do anything twice.

It's a fun time to be a part of Citrix! Take a look at our Synergy conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE8yT5CZjVM. The way people work is changing. Companies need a new strategy. There is a really cool use case at minute 14 of the video where you can see how we help one of our customers @Aston Martin Racing Ltd.?They are operating in the most technologically advanced sport on the planet - kind of the ultimate in mobile computing. We're helping them reimagine work in? a business that is won or lost in mere hundredths of a second. Who wouldn't want to work on that? Apply or reach out today!?#ReimagineWork?#BuildingTheFutureofWork?#CitrixCloud?#Cloud?#DevOps?#Hiring?#JoinCitrix?
