Position Overview:

As the Executive Chef, you will lead our culinary team to new heights of gastronomic excellence. Your creativity, passion, and expertise will shape the culinary identity of our resort, ensuring that every meal is an extraordinary journey for our guests.

Responsibilities:


  • Culinary Leadership: Develop and execute a world-class culinary vision that aligns with our brand’s ethos. Lead by example, inspiring and mentoring our kitchen brigade.
  • Menu Creation: Craft innovative menus that showcase the finest ingredients, international flavors, and artistic presentation. Embrace sustainability and seasonality.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and consistency. Conduct regular tastings and inspections.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a diverse team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Cost Control: Manage food costs, inventory, and wastage. Optimize resources while maintaining excellence.
  • Guest Experience: Interact with guests, understand their preferences, and exceed their culinary expectations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling practices, and sanitation standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (F&B, Operations, Purchasing) to enhance the overall guest experience.


Qualifications:


  • Culinary Expertise: Proven track record as an Executive Chef in international branded luxury business hotels or resorts. Familiarity with European Plan (EP) concepts is of advantage.
  • Language Skills: Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
  • Creativity: Ability to innovate and elevate traditional dishes while respecting local flavors.
  • Leadership: Inspire and motivate your team to achieve culinary excellence.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Credentials: Culinary degree or equivalent qualifications.
