Hirewell Hiring Trends - May 2024

I joined Emily and Ryan on the Hirewell update last month to discuss hiring trends from Q1. There were signs of optimism, particularly within Sales and Construction hiring.

But after 18 months of choppiness in the hiring market - it was too early to call it a comeback.

We all needed to see two (plus) quarters in a row of growth before I could declare the job market “back.” We aren’t far enough along to say anything with clarity.? But we have another month (plus) of data.

What have we seen? Positive signs overall. However, there is still a general hesitation when it comes to hiring. Or making decisions in general.?
