HireUp receives funding to combat youth homelessness

I'm very proud to share that the Government of Canada, through the Innovative Solutions to Homelessness funding stream, is supporting the development of HireUp - an innovative platform designed to combat homelessness through employment with a $396,896 grant.

With this funding, HireUp, an independent social enterprise and B Corp incubated by Impakt, will continue building the platform to help more than 5,000 vulnerable youth secure jobs over the next two years.

Delivering social impact is for everyone, whether you are a charity, non-profit, B Corporation, social enterprise or for-profit and it’s great to see the Government of Canada fostering and supporting social innovations in all of its forms.

HireUp is also a perfect example of how Impakt is helping to transform the world by solving social problems in ways that benefit corporations and civil society organizations.
