Comments from a growing list of attendees.

This is my 4th year attending HiPoCON and you've improved the already great experience every year. It's a great opportunity to network with your staff as well as the vendors. I personally was able to visit with a few vendors regarding issues we were experiencing with their products. They were very helpful getting me answers or pointing me in the right direction. I look forward to this event every year. A job well done!

This was my 3rd event, and it keeps getting better and better every year!

Liked the addition of the High Point "Ask an Expert" booth. Great idea!

Wow! Some awesome prizes! Thanks for the great event!

As always HiPoCON is a great and informative convention. We look forward to it every year. Thank you again!

Had a great time. Fun and interesting talks with colleagues and High Point employees as well. Looking forward to next year’s event!

All in all, it I love going to Hipocon. Lots to learn and it's great getting to meet the different vendors and see all the new and innovative products they have to offer.

Great event, even for someone like myself who is not a "techie".

Enjoyed the day at HiPoCON, very informative information that was presented and always nice to be able to talk to venders face to face.

One of the best yet, had a good and informative time.

Event was great, it is a way for some of us small guys to meet some larger guys and see what we might need in the long term. Thanks!

Good conference. Continue this conference :)

Very well put together, best in the upper Midwest.

This is my second time coming to this event. It is one of the most informative and non-sales orientated conference I have been to. Thank you High point and all vendors for your attendance, it was a great day.

Great event, learned a lot, good mix of technical and non-technical sessions and speakers.

Hosted by High Point Networks

High Point Networks is excited to be your host for this great day of technology and networking with friends. HiPoCON is an event for High Point Networks to say “Thank You” to our customers for their loyalty and commitment to doing business, solving challenges and working together. We hope you can attend this year’s event!

What does High Point Networks do?

Every person that works at High Point Networks has faced the struggle of explaining what their day-to-day job encompasses. The long answer is that High Point Networks is a value-added reseller (VAR) of information technology providing solutions to both the SMB and enterprise level markets across the Great Plains. However, when that answer is given, 9 times out of 10 the response is “But what do you really DO?”

What sounds complicated is actually quite simple: We help businesses be successful.

We do this by optimizing their existing technology and introducing them to solutions that solve challenges and increase customers’ efficiency and effectiveness. “At the end of the day, if our customers aren’t successful, we aren’t successful,” CEO/President Tom McDougall said. It is for that reason that everyone at High Point Networks works tirelessly to be the leading experts in four pillars of business – Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Datacenter, and Security – all of which are supported by the best professional services team in the region.

Since the company’s formation in 2003, High Point Networks has grown to have 65+ employees spread out across 6 offices in the Great Plains region. These employees include account managers who have previously been network and system administrators and can solve real-time problems for their customers. They include seasoned engineers who have been tackling challenges and providing solutions for businesses in the region for 40+ years. They include project managers that work with customers from the initial sale until final implementation, training and beyond. They include experienced Help Desk managers and technicians who are ready to offer their expertise and problem-solving skills anytime, day and night, 365 days a year.

One of the primary characteristics McDougall says he is most proud to see in his employees is what he calls the “firehose principle.” “When a customer or an employee encounter a problem, people don’t sit back and watch them burn,” McDougall explains. “They grab a hose and jump in to lend a hand.” Every day brings a new opportunity to help our customers excel at what they do, and we love walking side by side with them on that journey.
