HIMSS25 Interop & Smart Experience Pavilion: MEDITECH and Microsoft
MEDITECH is pleased to welcome 微软 to booth #C3318-02 at the #HIMSS25 Interop & Smart Experience Pavilion. Here, we will demonstrate the real-life impact of intelligent interoperability alongside our valued MEDITECH Alliance partner.
Throughout the conference, we'll present a three-part patient scenario highlighting key moments throughout a patient’s journey across the care continuum. Explore how interoperability, when coupled with a powerful, intelligent EHR platform, directly contributes to positive patient outcomes. These scenarios, including prenatal, labor and delivery to postpartum, and oncology care, will be held twice daily.
Attend our “Prenatal Care” session to discover how Microsoft streamlines documentation, surfaces information, and automates tasks. The session will be held Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., as well as Thursday at 9:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
You’ll discover how a physician can leverage Microsoft's ambient listening technology to document prenatal care visits, enabling them to have more natural conversations with patients free from distraction. The integration between Microsoft and MEDITECH turns the patient-provider interaction into a clinical note, which can be reviewed, edited, and incorporated into the patient’s EHR. Through this clinical scenario, we will demonstrate how using Microsoft with the MEDITECH EHR enables better patient care.
Microsoft will also participate in a customer panel session at the Education Theater on Tuesday, March 4, from 1:00 p.m. -1:45 p.m. This session, "Transforming Healthcare Through Ambient Listening and Generative AI: From Clinical Documentation to Comprehensive Care Intelligence,” will explore the revolutionary impact of ambient listening and generative AI on healthcare and will be moderated by Health Data Management Group CEO and President of the American College of Health Data Management Mitchell Josephson, FACHDM .
Panelists including Microsoft's General Manager of Dragon Product Management Kenn Harper, MEDITECH's Director of Product Management Rebecca Lancaster, CPM , and SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium’s (SEARHC) Chief Medical Officer Cate Buley, MD, FAAFP, FACH, will examine the broader impact on clinical efficiency and operations, the importance of equitable access, and practical implementation strategies for diverse care settings.?
Experts from Microsoft will be available in MEDITECH’s Pavilion booth after each demonstration to answer any follow-up questions.?
