The International Care Ministries (ICM) and the Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines (HIMAP) recently formalized their partnership to help the ultrapoor communities in the Visayas and Mindanao regions by signing a memorandum of agreement at the Glorietta 2 Activity Center.
Dubbed as the HIMAP Million Meal Marathon, professionals from the healthcare information management services (HIMS) sector will volunteer to pack meals that will be distributed to their adopted community. Around 200 professionals from HIMAP member companies, will converge and share their time and effort to be part of this milestone. Participating companies include Alorica, Conduent, Teleperformance, Pointwest Innovations and Wipro. Rise Against Hunger Philippines and Ayala Malls are co-sponsoring this event.
