HILLSDALE COLLEGE & "WE THE PEOPLE"
HILLSDALE COLLEGE & "WE THE PEOPLE"
As I have mentioned several times before, I am a big History buff,...perhaps more particularly, American History. I like History told as accurately as it can be. History isn't pretty necessarily,...it has "goods & bads"...it shows the best of people & the worst of people, yet in studying it as it was, we can best learn from past mistakes & do things better in the future (hopefully). So naturally when I heard that Hillsdale College (founded in 1844 in Hillsdale Michigan) offers a free online "Constitution 101 Course" about the US Constitution, it caught my attention. The US Constitution is an amazingly dynamic & thorough document, that is perhaps the most prolific government document ever written in offering basic human rights & freedoms. Many people of faith like myself believe it had to have been Divinely inspired God, as humans on their own devices would never have been able to write something this universally fair regarding human rights & freedoms. Not to sound like a commercial for Hillsdale necessarily (I am not an official spokesperson for them), but if you are someone who is interested in preserving the US Constitution & its place in our American history, you may want to check this free online course out (Hillsdale.edu), so you know better how to represent the Constitution to others who may not know as much about its value. Hillsdale is a private College independent of government funding, & according to Wikipedia "it has a liberal arts curriculum that is based on the Western heritage as a product of both the Greco-Roman culture & the Judeo-Christian tradition". Have a productive day !
