2:31am in Accra, Ghana. I sat watching Hillary Rodham Clinton make history, as she delivered her first speech as presumptive Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party of the USA. Eight years ago, I watched her concede to then candidate Senator Barack Obama. And eight years on, she makes this epoch! What a wonderful achievement! I admire your persistence and tenacity of purpose, Secretary Hillary! Your life teaches us so many lessons. Like all of us, you may have your flaws, but those flaws didn't stop you from pressing on. Tonight, I celebrate your momentous milestone; and this historic moment in the national life of the United States of America. Yes, focus, persistence and purpose-driven desire pay. We continue to learn.
