We've found that whatever is good in life, not from a dopamine surge or hedonistic perspective, but rather what is objectively and eternally good, should be embraced and pursued with no restraint. Business isn't that different - and in this week's videos we discuss unapologetically embracing and pursuing what makes for a good team, and good leadership.
Building a Team to Last (and that will make your business succeed)
As much as we're enamored by the Lone Ranger, Thomas Shelby, Don Draper, James Bond, or a cast of other characters (no personal bias in the above of course), the reality is that it takes a strong team to really grow something of value.
Furthermore, similar to everything else in life, it isn't just assembling the team, yet maintaining, fostering growth, and encouraging development that truly leads to the sum of the parts exceeding the capabilities of the respective individuals.
In this week's video we discuss the five key elements we've seen in businesses, and continue to grow in our own, that allow for the optimal teams to be built, and for businesses to ultimately thrive.
No Value in Fighting Your Nature in Business

We too often fall for the fallacy that we need to be excellent at every aspect of our businesses to have a successful business and, if any attribute is less than a 10 out of 10, that things will fail.
The reality is that we all have some proclivity (call it nature or nurture) to be elite at a few things, yet none of us can truly be excellent at every single component necessary for businesses to be successful.
That said, what we all do have is the ability to be elite at a few things, what I would deem our nature, and then excellent at bringing in team members who are similarly elite in their respective silos of business.
Leaving on a note to think on for the weekend, and for those here in the states, hope everyone enjoys Labor Day with their families and loved ones.
