Episode 5: The Highs & Lows of Being a Founder, with Danny Gray…
Steve Bolton
Serial exited entrepreneur | Social-impact fund manager | Best-selling author | AI investor | Son of former AFC Bournemouth Captain
Welcome to Episode 5 of The JAAQ Journey.
Being a Founder is never easy!? In this episode, Danny answers the question:
'So, how is your mental health?'
He shares why, on the one hand every day feels like Christmas Eve, but on the other, the pressures, problems and responsibility of being the Founder, weighs very heavily upon him.??
I’m sure other Founders will relate and after 30 years as an entrepreneur, I can certainly empathise with him.??
You can also join us for a final office tour, as Danny shows us around the completed JAAQ office. The whole team is already starting to reap the benefits of their new home because it’s such an inspiring space.??
We will soon be hosting regular networking and collabs at the office, so we will be able to welcome guests from September onwards.? (More details will be shared in the next episode).
We also used the new office to run a JAAQ Values session with the team following our inspirational half-day with the former Gymshark titans, Steve Hewitt and Dave Parry from wearewhannau.??
On the 19th August we have our long awaited follow up “North Star’ Session with Steve and Dave and we can’t wait to share some of the highlights from that experience with you in a future episode.
And finally in this episode, we also celebrated one million mental health questions asked and answered on the JAAQ platform with zero marketing spend -? what a truly monumental achievement!? This was a really special moment for Danny and all of us involved with JAAQ.

7 个月Great to see the continuing journey of JAAQ. and Danny. Never mind the platform and the incredible impact it is having, the videos are just amazing to see. So much can be learnt from just hearing Danny speak, and seeing what he’s doing, how he behaves and interacts with others. Inspiring stuff Steve ????
