Last month, we had a fantastic time at Loughborough University Careers Fair - chatting to engineering students about our 2024/25 Industrial Placement Programme and offering our top tips. If you are interested in a student placement year at Taylor Hobson, applications have officially opened ??
Over the course of 9-12 months, students develop their knowledge and technical skills - working together on different projects and getting involved in workshops & team activities. With the ever-increasing global technology demands, we are seeking creative, progressive and talented young minds to join and develop in this cutting-edge engineering environment.

In light of [this], we took inspiration from innocent drinks and 'renamed' some of our instruments for the younger generation, incorporating Gen Z 'slang', puns and terminology into our product names . We'll let the post speak for itself...

October was jam-packed with exhibitions - our teams have been travelling the world!

From the 15th to the 19th, we were in Rochester, NY at SPIE Optifab ????. Our experts were showcasing a range of instruments and Applications Engineer Jayesh Navare led a fantastic presentation ??
Later in the month, our experts presented the Form Talysurf? PGI Optics at OPTO Taiwan - the exclusive exhibition dedicated to optical professionals. It was great!
?? We wore it PINK!
Following on from our successful Macmillan Coffee Morning in September, we continued our fundraising efforts by 'wearing it pink' in aid of Breast Cancer Now. Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful staff (shout out to Shaun for wearing the pink dress!), we were able to raise almost ￡400 ??
