Highlights of June'24
IndiVillage Foundation
Educating Children and Upskilling Youth in Rural India
Dear Reader,
We are delighted to bring you the 20th edition of our newsletter. This month, we onboarded our new team members with a fun and informative ten-day boot camp. Read on to know more about our June!
Boot Camp
Our team was thrilled about the 10-day boot camp in Raichur, Karnataka. This program equipped new members with skills like problem-solving, communication, and a growth mindset. They learned about the IndiVillage Foundation's mission, professional and communication etiquette, and having the right mindset and methods.
Topics included early childhood education, classroom management, social-emotional skills, and creativity through visual arts. Participants also gained knowledge in computer basics, coding, and artificial intelligence. We thank the facilitators from FocusU and TiTLi Early Childhood Training Institute for this engaging and impactful experience.
Dream Team Assemble
We are excited to welcome 25 fellows and 2 program coordinators to our team, marking the launch of our fellowship model. Over the next 11 months, our fellows will lead the implementation of our educational and skilling programs on the ground.
Our transparent and inclusive hiring process ensured equal opportunity for all applicants, focusing on the right mindset and commitment to our mission. We conducted a two-week selection conference across five blocks, comprising group discussions and interviews. After rigorous evaluations, we have formed a passionate team ready to make a meaningful impact.
