Regional Highlights
CIRSE 2024
Our team had the incredible opportunity to attend CIRSE 2024 in beautiful Portugal. It was a pleasure to be represented by our CEO, James Simkins, alongside our Regional Business Development Manager, Naomi Yamada, as well as our colleagues from Getz Healthcare Australia & New Zealand Business Development Manager, Steffan Bush, and Division Manager, Wendy Burgess.

Leadership Meeting
Earlier this month the Getz Healthcare ANZ Leadership Team and Sales Leadership Team convened for an inspiring and transformative three-day offsite meeting. The objective was to foster open dialogue, encourage creative thinking, and align the strategic direction. Throughout these days, the teams engaged in deep discussions, exchanged innovative ideas, and challenged each other to think beyond the conventional.
45th ICMM World Congress
Our team participated in the ICMM World Congress on Military Medicine from September 22-27, 2024, at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in Australia. The team discussed our game-changing haemostatic solutions available from WoundClot. The haemostatic gauze, manufactured from cellulose, a natural fiber material, is unique as the only non-oxidized, non-regenerated cellulosic structure (NONRCS) haemostatic.
Pakistan Highlights
Team Briogene successfully conducted a one-day training and hands-on session for lab staff on the CBC Analyzer AC310 at PPHI Daur and PPHI Bhitshah, Matiari. Our dedicated team ensures that lab staff are well-equipped to use the equipment effectively, enhancing their skills and improving lab operations.

Malaysia Highlights
Annual Scientific Meeting on Intensive Care (ASMIC 2024)
From 6th to 8th of September 2024,?the Malaysian Society of Intensive Care (MSIC) annual scientific meeting featured topics ranging from the management of hemodynamics, multiple trauma in crush injury right down to nutritional status of pediatrics. Marking the?inaugural participation of the International Fluid Academy (IFAD) Malaysia chapter, Getz Healthcare Malaysia showcased its range of intensive care products, ranging from Ambu, Bioptimal, Mercury Medical and Istanbul Medical.
KLVAC 2024, A Central Event in Vascular Medicine
The Kuala Lumpur Vascular Access Conference (KLVAC) serves as a significant biennial platform for healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge, explore the latest trends and solutions, and strengthen partnerships in the vascular field. This year’s KLVAC hosted guests from Malaysia, China, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, Singapore and more from 13 to 15 September. As a key-vessel in healthcare solutions, Getz Healthcare Malaysia was proud to team-up with Boston Scientific for KLVAC 2024 to showcase the EKOS Endovascular system, presenting our shared dedication to advancing vascular care.

From September 20-21, Getz Healthcare Philippines attended OrthoRocks 11 at Novotel Araneta, where they showcased Convatec Advanced Wound Care products and DeRoyal Stretchnet Prospera II.
Successful Neolaser Procedure at Vicente Sotto Hospital
Dr. Loreto Ong performed a Laser HemorrhoidoPlasty procedure at Vicente Sotto Hospital. Dr. Ong was one of the delegates who participated in the Live Demo Training of Neolaser in Taiwan.
Taiwan Highlights
On 28th September 2024, Getz Healthcare Taiwan participated in the Bentley Symposium 2024, where the team hosted the top Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Cardiologists in the region to explore the applications of BeBack and BeGraft. Our sincere appreciation to Dr. Barend Mees from Maastricht UMC+ and all the speakers and moderators for their valuable insights and engaging discussions.
Thailand Highlights
Advancing Elderly Care: Highlights from SUT Hospital’s International Health Conference
Suranaree University of Technology Hospital (SUT Hospital) collaborated with both national and international organizations to host the “Co-creation for Sustainable Development in Good Health and Well-Being” National and International Academic Conference, held from September 12-13, 2024.
Getz Healthcare Thailand showcased a range of cutting-edge medical devices, including LymphaTouch, Fesia, EsoGLOVE, TMS, and BMD. Despite the strong interest from attendees, many participants were unfamiliar with these devices, as their clinics or hospitals had not yet gained access to this equipment. This presents a significant opportunity for Getz Healthcare to introduce our?innovative solutions to new healthcare facilities across Thailand, expanding access to life-changing technologies.
TMS Innovation Showcase at “Healthy Retirement, Free from Dementia” Seminar
Nakornthon Hospital organized a seminar on “Healthy Retirement, Free from Dementia” and showcased TMS innovation from Getz Healthcare Thailand. The seminar featured a presentation by Dr. Pramote On-udom, a neurologist and specialist in brain and nervous system care from the Brain and Neurology Center. The event provided insights on how to maintain brain health and prevent dementia, helping participants prepare for a quality retirement. The event was held at Thong Sima Conference Room, 4th Floor, Nakornthon Hospital, in 20th September, and was free of charge.
Vietnam Highlights
The Paraclinical Science Conference 2024
Cho Ray Hospital’s annual Paraclinical Science Conference, themed “Approaching New Paraclinical Technologies in Diagnosis and Treatment,” was led by Deputy Minister of Health, PhD, and Specialist Level 2 Doctor Nguyen Tri Thuc, and attended by over 800 doctors and researchers. The event featured eight science sessions and 33 studies/seminars on Diagnostic Imaging, Pathogen Disease, and Diagnosis, sharing valuable insights on new paraclinical technologies. Getz Healthcare Vietnam, a collaborator with Cho Ray Hospital since 2016, attended to introduce their latest healthcare solutions, including a lung cancer testing solution based on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), and technologies from Vela Diagnostics, Diatech Pharmacogenetics, and Eppendorf.
