Along with Luxepack, Paris Packaging Week is one of the most important trade shows related to innovation in packaging. It incorporates three differentiated segments depending on area of interest: aerosol, perfumes, and the drinks industry, which encompasses wine, spirits, and soft drinks. One of CURIUS’ mantras is to drive innovation with purpose. This segues to having a unique vision for converting handicaps of a particular category or certain product, into great assets, and always incorporating great design and close collaboration with stakeholders. We’re especially proud to see the R&D development of our MATCH brand in the stand of AUTAJON GROUP , showcasing our bespoke 4-pack, and the innovative perforated label varnish at EUROSTAMPA too.

Bubbles collection?

The new ESTAL catalogue of bottles for the perfume industry are simply stunning! They’ve incorporated a very elegant approach for elevating the concept of 100% PCR glass with a noticeable pinch in the base integrated with different shapes. This creates a perfectly white canvas for new development in this area. It was also very gratifying to see how the perfume industry is beginning to use Wild Glass (100% post-consumer recycled); the same commitment to sustainability that we use at MATCH.?

High texturized silkscreen?

Dekorglass Dekoratif Cam San. ve Tic. Ltd. ?ti. is always pushing boundaries with new techniques, and it was very interesting to see the texturized vegetable effect they’ve managed to create for a new Organic Gin brand.?

UV Protection by coating?

Bormioli Luigi introduced an innovative concept to help prevent the degradation of natural formulations that can have a variety of uses. Although originally designed for the perfume industry, it could have other interesting applications, such as for wines that contain no preservatives, to avoid oxidation when they encounter daylight.?

OI Expressions?

Although not really a novelty (as O-I Americas South presented a couple of years ago at Luxepack), the technique of decorating a glass engraving on catalogue bottles is still being perfected and with continued creativity, incredible results can still be achieved.?

Ultimate sleeve?

It looks like it’s screen-printed but in actuality Sleever created a great definition on a bottle with a peculiar section (triangulated truncated cone); an ad hoc development for a new rosé vodka.?

An award winner in the PLD Innovation Awards, this pack was developed based on the traditional shape of bottles and utilized the bag-in-box technique, exploiting innovative mono-material plastics.?

Textured bottle closures are reaching new heights and proof of this is the latest novelty from Guala Closures , with feathers that give an absolutely stunning look and feel.?

Extending their collaboration with natural mushroom case maker, James Cropper Paper & Packaging , they are incorporating a daring design, with more angular faceting and an extra flat surface to catch the eye of the discerning shopper in the champagne category.?

LEONHARD KURZ is always pushing the envelope regarding the use of foils. Their latest collection delivers a new dimension to product enhancement with brilliant 3D effects to capture customers’ attention.?

Combined with a lens effect, they created a fabulous illusion of depth, giving their products a captivating appearance, applied via cold foil or hot stamping. Each customer/brand can create their own unique design by overprinting or applying a transparent lens over a colorful substrate.?
