On 19th November, the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea came hosted the launch of the RACE COUNCIL CYMRU " Our Swansea, Our Stories" exhibition. This inspiring event brought together community members, changemakers, and supporters to celebrate the resilience, diversity, and achievements of Swansea’s vibrant community.

An Evening of Stories, Community, and Connection

The event showcased over 20 incredible stories of individuals who have overcome challenges, contributed to the community, and inspired change.

The celebration wasn’t just about the stories - it was about the experience. Guests enjoyed delicious food, fostering an atmosphere of warmth, sharing, and connection.

The exhibition showcases remarkable journeys, including:

• Dr. Ankita Jain , a Paediatric Consultant promoting cultural understanding in healthcare
• Jacob Henry, whose youth development work is transforming young lives
• Mojisola Olateju, dedicated to community service and healthcare
• Sithembinkosi Sibanda, whose entrepreneurial spirit has created opportunities for others
