Highlights - ExpertTalk 15 Aug 2020'

What a wonderful session we had on Aug 15th, Saturday. While there were few hiccups in the form of technical difficulties, we could still manage to commence our session without cutting short the essence of it. The stats of our live attendees and YouTube viewers are the testimony that what we started off carries a lot of weightage of knowledge, guidance, and awareness.

? 250 users attended session through Zoom (once after a technical glitch was fixed)

? 500+ watched live on YouTube

? 1200+ views on YouTube within a span of 12 Hrs.

We, on behalf of VLSI Expert Pvt. Ltd., want to thank our honorable speakers to share their words and valuable time. We are equally thankful to our attendees who earnestly listened to the talks, and sought great interest to be familiar with what our experts had in store.

Our speakers -

Dr. Sudeb DasGupta – What an excellent speaker, quite as apparent in his delivery of the speech, also in the way how the session was presented. The introduction to AI chips, attributes, challenges, emerging computing technologies were well illustrated and described. The big vast topic was carefully abridged in the way that it captures the key areas and its explanation, which would be enough to ponder on. It was a great deal of honor and privilege for us to share time with him, who generously carved out time and energy out of his busy schedule. Linked in profile - https://www.dhirubhai.net/in/sudeb-dasgupta-2b19b64/

Sabyasachi Nag – The spirit of the session was further uplifted by Saby. The magical voice which has the power to evoke joy instantly made it easy for us to stay enthused and hooked onto during the entire talk. His talk on Low power optimization for Digital Circuits was enlightening, engaging, and well-explained with the help of analogical reasoning. A very well-received session by the attendees and it was witnessed right from the moment he began speaking. Linked in profile - https://www.dhirubhai.net/in/sabyasachi/

Ravi Siddanath – A great combination of brilliance and humility. Ravi delivered an insightful session on IC Mask Design and challenges, explained how we need to apply a holistic approach and think from a circuit perspective to design optimized and area-efficient layouts. A crisp presentation on the challenges so as to help freshers or early professionals get the awareness of today’s demands. He also guided attendees around scope and preparation which proved that Ravi was well aware of the audience and what were their expectations. He summed up beautifully with a profound quote that everybody must believe in, "if you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough". Linked in profile - https://www.dhirubhai.net/in/ravi-siddanath/

There were two things we should follow up leveraging these sessions: that we thought we would highlight –

Discuss – Rekindle discussions, where we get multiple inputs coming from people with different backgrounds which results in deeper thinking giving rise to a big picture. The flaws and challenges are instantly pointed out in a discussion. where we have the ability to build a learning community by developing skills of synthesis and integration.

Ignite new ideas - Listening to experts opens our minds to new possibilities by moving past rigid and fixed thinking into unconventional and free thought-provoking processes. There is only one way to survive in this competitive world, i.e to come up with new ideas that further convert into a novel/holistic approach or simply an innovation. Find the areas that need change, connect with experts to lead the vision, also keep it simple so that others can share your vision, are some of the first steps to be taken to reach to a point of significant change for better.

A profound quote that we would like to recall in the spirit of Independence Day,

Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better
by Albert Camus

Once again thanks for your love and support,

See you at the next session!
