Highlights of the Dreamforce24 - Salesforce
Highlight #1: AI is Now Essential for Sales Success
As revealed in our latest State of Sales report, AI has become a must-have for sales teams. Nearly every sellers use it from enterprise to MSME's, and of those, many experienced revenue growth last year.
But why is AI so crucial? The report highlighted several key benefits, echoed by Salesblazers at this year’s Dreamforce: better data quality, less manual work, faster customer research, smarter lead prioritization, improved forecasting, and personalized experiences for customers.
This was showcased during the Sales Cloud keynote, where we saw how Sales AI saves time by highlighting big opportunities, automatically transcribing sales calls, and updating customer info, everything happening right inside Sales Cloud. And this is just the beginning.
Of course, all these AI benefits depend on having accurate and complete data, which brings us to.
Highlight #2: Clean Data and Simplified Tech Are the Future
While AI innovations were a huge focus at Dreamforce, the message was clear: AI can only deliver great results if your data is clean and unified.
That’s where an integrated tech stack comes in. By consolidating your tools on a single platform, like Salesforce, you get all your data in one place. This ensures that any AI features you use have access to complete, reliable customer info. Clean data equals top-quality AI.
Plus, this tech simplification makes life easier for your sales team-no more switching between tabs or platforms!
We heard from some top sales leaders at Dreamforce who shared how consolidating their systems boosted performance. You can watch a recording of their stories here.
Highlight #3: Humans and AI Working Together = The New Growth Strategy
First, we had predictive AI, helping us find trends and forecast the future. Then came generative AI, writing emails and call scripts with a simple prompt.
Now, we’re seeing the rise of autonomous AI.
Enter Agentforce: Salesforce’s latest innovation, introduced at Dreamforce. This collection of AI-powered agents can operate across the Customer 360 platform, with two main functions:
1. Autonomous Agents: These can complete sales tasks like qualifying leads and sending outreach messages-entirely on their own.
2. Assistive Agents: These work alongside salespeople, offering personalized coaching or answering questions in real time.
Two standout examples include:
Agentforce SDR: This AI prospecting agent qualifies leads based on set criteria (like deal value or closing potential). It engages prospects via their preferred channel, asks qualifying questions, and sends ready-to-close leads to sellers.
Agentforce Sales Coach: Managers often don’t have enough time to coach reps, and role-playing isn’t used enough. This AI coach steps in to role-play sales calls, offering personalized feedback based on real-life deal data from Sales Cloud.
These are just a glimpse of what’s possible with Salesforce’s customizable AI agents. Expect more game-changing features soon.
Dreamforce Recap: AI + Humans = The Future of Sales:
At Dreamforce, AI was the big buzzword. But it’s not just about the tech-it’s about how humans and AI together can drive growth in a safe, sustainable, and predictable way. That’s the future, and Salesforce is leading the charge. Dreamforce 2024 promises to push this AI journey even further for the business world.
