Educating Children and Upskilling Youth in Rural India
Dear Reader,
As we prepare for the upcoming year, our team is extensively working to make our programs even more impactful. This month, we got together in Bangalore to discuss the year coming up. Our team also visited Saturday Art Class’s end-of-year exhibition 4.0 in Mumbai. Read on to know more about our April.
Team Workshop
Last week, our team gathered in Bangalore for an exciting one-day workshop!
We reflected on the past year and strategized for the year ahead. We delved deeper into the nature and scope of work ranging from program design and implementation to making the planning process participatory by involving the team and stakeholders’ voices. We came to an understanding that feedbacks play a crucial role in shaping the trajectory of the programs and should be factored into the program design and implementation for a successful intervention.
Saturday Art Class Exhibition 4.0
On 27th of April, we were in Mumbai to attend the End of Year Exhibition organised by our partner Saturday Art Class to showcase the incredible creativity of the children they engage with. The event was a testament to the importance of developing social-emotional skills in children to ensure their holistic growth. We were proud to come across artworks created by students of our partner schools as part of the Saturday Art Class program. We hope to see this partnership strengthen and together create a larger impact in rural India by championing alternative pedagogies.
