Highlights of 2024 BritCham Shanghai Corporate Sports Day

On Oct.29th 2024, the British Chamber of Commerce held the annual event of Great British Sports Day’24 at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi & Dehong Shanghai.

This year’s Corporate Sports Day was a shining example of how collaboration, enthusiasm, and team spirit drive us all toward greater accomplishments. We, HSC both as the zone sponsor and participant showcase our spirit of?camaraderie. ?HSC sent a representing football team and a badminton team. We strongly encourage active participation and foster a friendly atmosphere.??

The football tournament was played by 12 members of the HSC Athletics team, which finished in the top eight of the cup.

From the moment the games kicked off, it was clear that the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition was alive and well among the participating teams. As we look back on the event, we celebrate not only the victories on the field but also the bonds we strengthened and the new connections we formed. Every challenge, every sprint, every cheer from the sidelines brought us closer, showing that when we all share in the joy and take pride in our accomplishments, we become better individuals. More importantly, we reinforce the foundation of a stronger, more united team.

Lily and Kavin represented the HSC Badminton Club with a true spirit of participation. Despite the challenges, they gave their all, demonstrating the tournament’s competitive spirit by putting in their best effort and leaving it all on the court.

This Sports Day wasn’t just about winning trophies or crossing finish lines—it was about pushing our limits, supporting one another, and having fun while doing it. The shared laughter, high-fives, and mutual respect highlighted what teamwork truly means. We didn’t just compete; we succeeded as one.

Our booth was a hub of excitement, offering a wide range of giveaways that delighted visitors of all ages. With engaging activities and a family-friendly atmosphere, there was something for everyone to enjoy.?

From interactive experiences to thoughtful gifts and surprises, our booth quickly became a favourite stop for families eager to join in the day's festivities. The greatest encouragement came when visitors complimented us, saying, 'You have the best booth today!' We were thrilled to see so many smiles as people engaged with us in such a lively and welcoming environment.

With the memories of this unforgettable day in mind, we look forward to even greater achievements ahead.
