Highlighting Notable NFT Sales, Momoguro's Controversy, and Breakthrough Technology

It's a good day to say Happy Viernes to all reading this new edition. Today we'll focus on some controversies within the community, notable sales, and some small highlights around web3 that caught my attention. Grab your tea, water, or cafecito, and...

This will be simple and short. I know that it's Viernes, so we all want to rest, binge-watch something, or do whatever but being here ??

Let's go. ???

Before I start, let me share with you all how the NFT Market is at the moment as I'm editing this ??

Chipped: A Technological Leap in Networking

I have been hearing about this, but seeing it in reality is kind of special. As winny.eth mentioned, "The nails come set up to your profile, which is kind of like a linktree [but cuter]"

I believe that this is just the start of revolutionizing how we share personal and professional information through technology like this one. It's a brilliant way to open the doors to more women who love their nails and add something extra. Networking on another dimension.

This collaborative effort between Kiko World, which is a beauty platform/technology company based in Los Angeles, and Gossip Protocol.

The team behind this technology tested their product during DEVConnect and they were able to chip using the nail art technology with over 200 crypto natives which is impressive. I can see why the response to this has been incredible. There is a huge market for it and they are super cute.

A sleek, artistic, convenient, and efficient way to network by just tapping your nail on a phone. Brilliant!

You get to instantly share digital profiles, social media accounts, and much more. The pre-sale offers a set of 22 press-ons for $49, with only two colors available, but I'm sure that as the company grows, there will be more designs.

What are your thoughts about this?

You can go to the website here. But just take a look at how cute the packaging looks.

Magic Eden's Diamond Drop: A Nod to Solana's Early Supporters

I think this is a positive thing on Magic Eden 's part. Giving back to those who were with them from the beginning not only shows gratitude but also a two-way loyalty system that other platforms should consider. They have gone through so many ups and downs, but they are still here fighting against a lot of giants in the space with significantly more funding and money. Still, their community always fights (with some exceptions).

This Diamond Drop is an initiative that has sparked a lot of conversations, good and bad as always. While some users report difficulties accessing Magic Eden on Chrome, others have found success on browsers like Brave and iOS. But until now, I have not heard of anything drastic or any significant FUD related to this.

Momoguro's Controversial Journey: From Hype to Disappointment

I can still remember when Momoguro started creating hype for their mint. I was even part of one of their last Twitter Spaces and asked questions to their team which seemed to know a lot of what they wanted for this and what they were doing.

Well, I was wrong! It happens sometimes ??

Momoguro's collection went super high at first and little by little started to lose momentum, which happens, but I believe that the team mostly from web2 backgrounds didn't know how to handle this community. It has been a rollercoaster of high expectations and stark realities, to say the least.

Starting with grand promises of an award-winning studio, a top-tier game, and a global IP, the project raised millions only to face delays, unsatisfactory game releases, and growing distrust within its web3 community.

I believe that Marianne here in her post that I'll attach couldn't have said it any better ??

The floor price of Momoguro NFTs has plummeted from 0.91 ETH to now 0.018 ETH, and recent attempts to rekindle interest through the announcement of a children's TV series titled "Rug Story" have been met with marked skepticism, understandably so.

And the saga continues...

Now to the happy highlights: Notable NFT Sales

There were a few that were really good, but I personally loved the dedication and loyalty to the Doodles collection of @Blondie23LMD. This person didn't just acquire any common Doodles but Grails, and at significantly high prices - as they deserve.

In this wallet alone, the number of Doodles that Blondie23LMD has is quite impressive:

They all look great!
