Highlighting East African Film Business Model: MTF's Success and Collaboration at the 27th Zanzibar International Film Festival”
MultiChoice Tanzania was thrilled to collaborate with Zanzibar International Film Festival to host a panel discussion on the Scope of the Film Business in East Africa, sponsored by the MultiChoice Talent Factory program.
This insightful panel featured prominent film producers from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, South Sudan, and neighboring countries. The strong demand from producers for this session highlights the strong love and trust in our brand across the region.
We are also proud that our MultiChoice Talent Factory alumni film "The Midnight Bride," written and produced by Doreen Kilimbe and commissioned by M-Net, won the Best Actress award at ZIFF this year. The award was presented during the evening ceremony, graced by H.E. Amani Abeid Karume, the 3rd President of Zanzibar.
