A Higher Level of Thought Leadership

A Higher Level of Thought Leadership

How do your clients come to realize that you are the best option for their business?

It’s hard. Trust me—as the head of Scribewise, one of the things I had to do was hire an accountant … but of course, I have absolutely no way of knowing how to differentiate between accountants (don’t @ me. I’ve solved this and am very pleased).

We believe—deeply—that service providers must demonstrate their expertise publicly to convince future clients that you know what you’re doing. That you’re at the forefront of trends in your industry. That you care so much that you’re willing to give away some of your expertise for free.

All of this points to thought leadership being at the very center of your firm’s marketing efforts.

Now, millions of people claim to be thought leaders. Millions more say they are subject matter experts.

In this crowded universe, your consultants can’t just be “okay” thought leaders. They need to be supercharged subject matter experts.?

They need to be Subject Matter Unicorns.

Being a Subject Matter Unicorn isn’t easy.

Subject Matter Unicorns need to really know their stuff. They need to educate your audience (clients, future clients, referrers and influencers) in a compelling way.

They need to “think in public” to create conversations.

They need to do it consistently over the long haul.

How can you as the person in charge of marketing help them to do this? Good news! Today, we’re releasing an eBook to help get you there: Beyond Thought Leadership: Becoming a Subject Matter Unicorn.”

Inside, you’ll learn:

  • The business case for elevating your firm’s thought leadership
  • How to identify fledgling Subject Matter Unicorns
  • How to create a lot of thought leadership content without a ton of effort
  • How to succeed on LinkedIn, and beyond
  • How to move past the inevitable obstacles in your way
  • How to measure your success

One last thought—a great thought leadership initiative is like getting in shape, something many of us struggle with [... looks in mirror ...]. You need to get started, you need to be consistent, and it needs to be integrated into your lifestyle from this moment forward. It will get easier as you go along, and you will see results. Guaranteed. But there’s no Ozempic for this.
