Our CHI team was curious to explore the educational level of IT specialists in Europe and the USA. According to Statista, by 2025, around 70% of IT job openings in the USA will require at least a Bachelor's degree. Similarly, about 65% of IT professionals in Europe are expected to hold a Bachelor's degree.

The United States is a leader in producing highly educated IT professionals:
? ? Bachelor's Degrees: Approximately 60% of IT professionals hold a Bachelor's degree. Many entry-level positions in the tech industry often require it.
? ? Master's Degrees: Around 25% of IT professionals have a Master's degree. These graduates typically earn about 18% more than those with only a Bachelor's degree.
? PhD Degrees: About 10% of IT professionals hold a PhD. They are usually engaged in advanced research and development roles within IT companies.

In Europe, the IT sector is characterized by a strong emphasis on higher education:
? ? Bachelor's Degrees: Approximately 66.7% of Information & Computer Technologies (ICT) specialists in the EU have completed a tertiary level of education, which includes a Bachelor’s degree.
?? Master's Degrees: Around 25% of IT professionals in Europe hold a Master's degree. The statistics are based on the general distribution of tertiary education levels in the EU.
