High-Spec Blackhorse Development Moves Forward with 3West, SNG, and Homes England

Leading property developers 3West are proud to announce the delivery of a new housing development in Blackhorse, Exeter. Successfully guided through the planning system by 3West, the project will see the construction of 44 homes, delivered for SNG (Sovereign Network Group) and funded by Homes England .

The development, which comprises a mix of 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes, will offer properties under both Rent and Shared Ownership tenure. Built to a high specification, using modern methods of construction, the homes will feature:

• Carpets and flooring throughout
• Individual car charging points
• Air source heat pumps for improved energy efficiency

The development reflects SNG’s commitment to high levels of sustainability, supporting modern, energy-efficient living for residents. In addition, the site will include Public Open Space (POS), featuring a resident's orchard, to enhance the local environment and foster community well-being. This development will go some way to mitigating the present affordable housing crisis.

With full planning granted, work is set to commence in January 2025, with the first homes ready for handover from December 2025.
