High Quality Design = High Quality Print
Too often we see designs that are built with blurry logos, pictures, or very small elements that are super pixelated. Some people may assume that these things get fixed during the printing process but that is not usually true.
For the most part, if something doesn't look right on your own screen (blurry logo, picture, etc.) that is how it is also going to look on the finished product. There are some scenarios where you can get away with using sub-par artwork, but more often than not this will just cause you frustration down the road.
What is the solution?
Much like if you were building a deck or a house, you want to use high quality pieces when you build your designs. If your logo is not a high resolution/vector logo, get this fixed first and then you will have a perfect logo to use on any design moving forward.
If you are trying to use low resolution photos, consider other replacement images that are not low-res. There are online resources for this, or if you have a professional photographer on your team they will be able to help.

If you are designing something large (Banner, Sign, Poster) zoom in on your images and verify what these look like when blown up. Often these look good when zoomed out and the images are small. When you take a closer look, you may discover some that need attention.
I've heard the saying in the industry, "Garbage in - garbage out." and that is pretty accurate. If you build your design with low quality garbage, the finished product is going to reflect that.
If you can, build yourself an arsenal of high quality logos, photos or stock images that you can have ready to use for various designs.
