High Plains Radio Network outperforms national networks in 1H 2020

High Plains Radio Network announces first half 2020 results. Same station revenue growth continued at 9% annually in January and February, 2020, with a COVID-driven 2% fall in March, -15% in April, -19% in May, -17% in June, -15% in July, -9% August. HPRN’s 6% revenue decline in first half 2020 outperformed national broadcasters. Automated national broadcasters suffered a far larger fall in revenue - Cumulus (– 32%) and iHeart (-48%).
