Navigating the intricate tapestry of professional ambition and personal fulfillment, my life embodies a spectrum of highs, lows, and daunting voids punctuating the human experience. In the relentless pursuit of career excellence, my professional journey is marked by notable achievements and formidable challenges, each contributing to a rich narrative of resilience and growth. Simultaneously, my personal life reveals a more intimate struggle, as I grapple with the existential questions and emotional complexities that define the human condition. "High, Low and Void: A Dark Place" delves into the multifaceted existence that I lead, offering an introspective look at the triumphs, trials, and often-overlooked voids that shape a life dedicated to both professional success and personal enlightenment.
As I embarked on my facilitation journey, I was a novice, and it took me months to upskill myself. Halfway through, while I had mastered the facilitation game, I realized I was still lacking something.
It's essential to have a balanced approach in life, ensuring you're present when needed both professionally and personally. There are times when you hit extreme lows, sometimes wondering what more could go wrong. Yet, you might experience even deeper lows, leading to existential questions in your mind.
Often, it is crucial to draw clear lines between the personal and professional aspects of life to maintain this balance.
The void I've been dealing with stems from personal reasons. Often, when things don't go as planned or don't meet your expectations, disappointment is inevitable. This disappointment can sometimes cause a grave imbalance in one's life. However, I've come to realize that it's okay to let things unfold as they are, as long as you know you will eventually swim through it.
Sometimes you feel helpless and hopeless with what you're dealing with. This is when it's crucial to be super conscious and gauge the cost of letting this happen to you. It may be wise to hold on, confront whatever you're dealing with, and introspect.
I understand how extremely difficult this can be during tough and dark times. While letting the experience flow through you is essential, it's equally important to identify the root cause of the situation and find a way forward. After all, you can't and wouldn't want to remain in that dark place forever.

During times like these, there are often many things that can come to our rescue, but when you're facing tough times, it's not always easy to figure out where to look.
That's when I surrendered to a higher power.
As a firm believer, I started investing more in spirituality and trying to calm myself. I was fortunate to have friends and reliable colleagues who supported me not just at work but in my personal life as well. Venting out may help to some extent, but it won't solve your situation, a lesson I learned the hard way.
Different people find solace in different ways, but one thing I've learned through this rush of emotions is that ultimately, you must help yourself find or devise mechanisms to pull yourself out of the situation. I had the added advantage of a super supportive team that had my back every step of the journey, both professionally and personally. External support is essential for uplifting the YOU that's within.
Even Lord Hanuman had to be reminded of his strengths and powers within him.
Recognizing that we are just a speck in the universe can be such an eye-opening experience during challenging times. This realization awakens a whole lot of positivity and strength within you, reinforcing the belief that you can overcome anything.
