High Fashion Models vs Commercial Models

What is the difference between High Fashion models vs. Commercial Models?

           The modeling world is more of an umbrella of multiple different areas. The most common type is High Fashion and Commercial models. 

           High Fashion models are the ones you see on the catwalks. They work with all the high end designers and walk in all the fashion shows for the famous Fashion Week. This type of model is usually very tall and slender. They have small measurements and are very lean. High fashion modeling know how to strut their stuff down a catwalk and can make any article of clothing look exactly how its meant to look. Anywhere from elegant with a flow to preppy and structured or with different patterns! You name it they wear it and make it look beautiful! 

           Commercial models have a different look than the High Fashioned models. Commercial models don’t necessarily need to be over 5’10 and slender. They usually have a very approachable look. Commercial models are used for television, commercials, newspapers, magazines and any other type of advertisement! Catalog work is a great example of commercial modeling.
