High Energy @ IdeenExpo 2017

Just do it! That's the theme of this year's IdeenExpo. This event is the only one of its kind in Germany and has been held at Hannover exhibition centre every two years since 2007: the IdeenExpo (Expo of Ideas), an interactive, hands-on fair that deals with all aspects of choosing a career.

It is seeking to waken children's and young people's interest in technology, and arouse their spirit of inquiry.

On my visit at the IdeenExpo in Hannover last Saturday I experienced high energy at every level:

Our ZF-trainees were fully motivated to show off their self-made constructions and even Prime Minister Stephan Weil got hooked at our pneumatic kicker.

Special highlight was the stop-over of PietSmiet, Germany's famous gaming stars.

I can strongly recommend the format of the IdeenExpo. It addresses the kids eye to eye and encourages its visitors to try out new technical and scientific things.
