In early September, Event Tickets Center team gathered to share time together amidst the breathtaking landscape of Beaver Creek, Colorado.?

Investing in a week like this helps bring together colleagues who work at different ETC offices, mainly our teams in Gainesville, Florida, Denver, Colorado, and remote workers.? In a world dominated by remote work, this retreat was a unique opportunity for us to come together, interact, collaborate, and grow as one ETC Family. It’s an invaluable opportunity to learn about each other, reflect on the past wins, tackle new challenges, and collaborate on new ideas.?

The retreat was designed with a singular purpose in mind: to strengthen our bonds, enhance teamwork, and deepen our understanding of Event Tickets Center's inner workings. We firmly believe that by fostering these connections, we can elevate our collaboration to a new level, ensuring our continued success in the dynamic events industry.

During our time in the shadows of the beautiful Beaver Creek Mountain, our team had the privilege of hearing from some of our very own subject matter experts, who shared invaluable insights that left a lasting impact.

Here are four highlights and impactful lessons we learned during our time together:?

New Ways to Reach Consumers?

Consumer brands are always looking for cost-effective ways to reach new consumers. With affiliate marketing, we can not only attract new people to our brand, but we can also partner with our most loyal customers and empower them to help promote our products.?

Jesse Morgan , Affiliate Marketing Manager, highlighted the immense potential of affiliate marketing, stating, "One of the main benefits of affiliate marketing is the number of touch-points available to reach consumers. It’s all about leveraging those touch-points to connect with consumers, working collaboratively with partners to expand the ETC reach, and ultimately, enhancing the consumer ticket purchasing journey, which is a shared goal of the team. During our annual ETC team meeting, I had the opportunity to share how affiliate marketing works and its powerful, cost-effective benefits. There is no shortage of competition in our space but effectively optimizing with affiliates is one key lever to maximizing return. Event Tickets Center truly embraces an omni-channel approach, which has paved our way to success. The recent team meeting amplified our understanding of the business, not just in affiliate marketing, but cross functionally, forging a path to greater development, knowledge sharing, and further collaboration amongst all teams,” she said.?

Improving Production Methodology?

Behind the scenes at ETC, there are vital production roles and responsibilities that ensure our company can run smoothly and efficiently.

Alexandria Patton , our Head of Production, describes it much like the setup of a manufacturing plant.?

"Production is the backbone of the company and is where all the events that come through are brought to life. Production is run like a factory, in that we have procedures and personnel that take care of each task. The amount of volume that is seen on a typical day is insane, and I believe that was showcased in Beaver Creek during the presentation! Teamwork is very important, and ultimately the goal is to keep growing and getting better together,” she explained.?

Leveraging AI to Build Better Products?

Artificial Intelliengce (AI) is vastly changing how work gets done.?

It’s important to understand the ramifications of new technologies and how they can bolster efforts. Most importantly, we need to view AI as a supplement to the work we’re doing and help our colleagues understand how new processes can make us more efficient.?

Ben Kruger , Chief Marketing Officer, provided his thoughts for the future, "I wanted to share my vision for how we can better leverage AI and automation to further our digital marketing efforts while continuing to test and iterate on the successful tactics that have been working for us,” he said.?
